Medan, 17th October 2023 – In achieving Quality Human Resources (HR), PT Prima Regional Development (PPK) as a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), which is part of the Pelindo Group, has delegated two employees each to participate in Electrical Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Expert Certification activities and Dynamic Archiving Certification.
PT PPK has sent a delegate named Achmad Mega Perdana to participate in the Electrical K3 Expert certification organized by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia in Bumi Asri, Medan, from 3rd to 20th September 2023. This activity aims to implement Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in industrial human resources (HR), which is crucial to reduce the number of work accidents, thus K3 Experts are much needed as special experts to help carry out supervision in the workplace and pay attention to safety and security during the work process. Apart from the provided materials, this certification activity also provides an experience by directly visiting several practice locations, one of which is the PLN Paya Pasir Office in the Paya Pasir Complex, Rengas Island, Medan Marelan.
Meanwhile, in the Dynamic Archiving Certification, PT PPK delegated Rani Hafiza to participate in activities organized by PT Indonesian Maritime and Logistics Education (PMLI) at the Ibis Style Hotel, Jakarta, from 18th to 20th September 2023. This training directly presents speakers from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI).
In another place, the President Director of PT PPK, Jansen Sitohang, hopes that by participating in the intended certification activities, the delegates can become role models for the related divisions to carry out their expertise. ‘Through this K3 Expert certification, for example, we hope that employees can understand the applicable K3 operational standards and be able to identify, prevent, and control potential risks in the workplace. The same is also expected for delegates participating in the Dynamic Archiving Certification so that existing archives can be well-organized, thus minimizing the loss of archive files,’ said Jansen (17/10).
