Health and Work Safety are philosophized as a though and effort to ensure the integrity and perfection of both physical and spiritual labor in particular and humans in general, their work and culture towards a prosperous and prosperous society. However, the definition of science is a knowledge and its applications to prevent the possibility of accidents and diseases caused by work.
K3 aims to create a safe workplace, healthy and free from environmental pollution by maintaining and protecting the health, security and safety of the workers, so that able to prevent or reduce accidents and occupational diseases, and ultimately to improve the system of efficiency and productivity of work.
Some rules related to K3 are regulated in Law of the Republic of Indonesia, Minister of Manpower Regulation and Minister of Health Regulation.

This case led to a high need for the provision of industrial area in order to give balance in market demand, as well as the need for a system in sustainable industrial area and environmental management in industrial area.
Recommendations Analysis of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or AMDAL must be owned by investment activities (Foreign Investment and Domestic Investment) which have the potential to have a negative impact on the environment in investment activities. AMDAL or EIA recommendations are issued by regional governments through regional government agencies or through one-door / roof licensing integrated services in the regions. For smaller scale investment activities, this environmental permit is in the form of Recommendations for Environmental Management / Monitoring (UKL / UPL).
Rules regarding to environmental management in Industrial Estates is refer to regulation of Ministry of Industry Misnistry of Environment and Ministry of Forest.
