Medan, November 7, 2023 – PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PPK), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), is actively promoting the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone project, one of which involves participating in and supporting the North Sumatra Invest (NSI) Day 2023 organized by Bank Indonesia (BI) North Sumatra Representative Office at JW Marriott Medan on Monday (6/11).
HB Sumartin Pasaribu, the Commercial Manager of PT PPK and representative of PT PPK at the event stated that the activity has a positive impact on attracting potential investors. “This BI flagship event, together with the regional government, facilitates meetings with potential investors. It allows us to present more broadly the potential, prospects, and advantages of the project to potential investors and relevant stakeholders. We also promote various innovations and investment opportunities, with one of the advantages of KIKT being its strategic location directly adjacent to Kuala Tanjung Port, which can result in more efficient logistics costs for prospective tenants,” explained Martin.
In addition to the promotional presentation of the KIKT project, the event also facilitated promotional activities through booths provided in the hotel’s ballroom corridor and one-on-one meetings with potential investors, aiming to foster further agreements between the parties.
The event was attended by senior officials, including Deputy Senior Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Destry Damayanti, Acting Governor of North Sumatra Hasanuddin, Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for North Sumatra Province IGP Wira Kusuma, Secretary of the North Sumatra Provincial Government Arief Sudarto Trinugroho, and other invited guests.
It is noteworthy that the North Sumatra Invest (NSI) Day 2023, themed “Enhancing North Sumatra Economic Growth through Sustainable Investment and Financial Inclusion,” serves as a new catalyst for economic growth in the North Sumatra region. This event promotes strategic investment projects in North Sumatra to drive sustainable economic recovery and supports Indonesia’s chairmanship of ASEAN this year.
