Medan, 18 August 2023 _ Communities throughout Indonesia are currently excited to participate in celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day which falls on August 17 each year.
In order to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023, PT Prima Pembangunan Kawasan (PPK) as a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL) which is part of the Pelindo Group also collaborates to enliven it by holding and participating in various competitions .
The competition was held at the PT PPK office, Graha Pelindo Lt.6 B Medan Belawan. This is inseparable from moral values, one of which is collaboration, where PT PPK people who participate in competitions work together synergistically in solving challenges in each competition.
On that occasion, Jansen Sitohang as the Main Director of PT PPK expressed his appreciation for the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day. “This activity can be a means to continue to preserve the nation’s cultures so that they are maintained, which are wrapped in a spirit of nationalism within all PT PPK employees,” Jansen said (18/08).
Meanwhile, Askaro Humas and IT PT PPK as the head of the committee, Arief Maulana Lubis explained several types of competitions namely, marble spoon contest, eggplant relay, snakes and ladders competition, nail insertion competition in bottles and blindfolded food competition.
“Participants in this activity are required to collaborate and find innovations in solving challenges so that we always apply moral values in our daily activities. We also hope that this spirit of independence can always accompany us in the work we are undertaking.” Jansen said.
Previously PT Pelindo Multi Terminal had held various competitions including one of the most favorite sports in Indonesia, namely Badminton where PT PPK sent one of its best employees, Swandy Purba, as HR and General Affairs Manager, and managed to win First Place in Men’s Doubles in the competition. This certainly makes PT PPK proud with the limited human resources available but it can provide achievements in celebrating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia this time.
